I came across a good article By Judy Wall on controlling the mind with silent sound. Such control is accomplished subliminally with the help of super computers. The article is a bit technical and is a well researched one. The most notable point in the article is about the capability of using mechanical or magnetic media for recording subliminal instructions and transmitting them to the target repeatedly. Silent Sound Inc, a company involved in the research and development of the technology says “it is now possible, using supercomputers, to analyse human emotional EEG patterns and replicate them, then store these "emotion signature clusters" on another computer and, at will, "silently induce and change the emotional state in a human being". This has terrifying possibilities and implications.
There are other equipments, similar to the see- through –the-wall radars and X ray machines which are used at the air ports to record brain activity by beaming electromagnetic rays into you. As Alan Yu has written these brain wave patterns can then be fed into a computer and recorded. Every emotional state is thus monitored. Once they have a wide spectrum of these brain waves it could be send back to you to trigger the same emotional state again.
All these involve the assistance of several technologies and are thus a complicated process. There are two possible methods of attack. 1) Direct and 2) through radio frequencies. The direct method is said to have a limited range of a few meters. But the method using radio waves is all pervasive.
As many are aware subliminal messages are effectively used even now in shopping malls to prevent theft. These come through to you through the music played at these malls. The messages are recorded into the back ground of the music and are undetectable.
The author has also something to say about the KGB mind control experiments. She tracks it back to the 70’s .Here is what she has to say about the soviet experiments” during the 1970s the Soviet KGB developed a Psychotronic Influence System (PIS) that was used to turn soldiers into programmable 'human weapons'. The system employed a combination of high frequency radio waves and hypnosis.”
To me it has always seemed that the soviets are the first to develop effective mind control technology. They were into robotics and cybernetics long before any other nation seriously ventured into those areas. So they were naturally the more aware. This is reflected by their decision to propose a draft in the UN general assembly in 1975 on “"Prohibition of the Development and Manufacture of New Types of Weapons of Mass Destruction and New Systems of Such Weapons".
The author says that in 1979 the Soviet Union added a list of weapons of mass destruction to the draft. Among these weapons the following were included.
“2) Particle beam weapons, based on charged or neutral particles, to affect biological targets;
3) Infrasonic acoustic radiation weapons;
4) Electromagnetic weapons operating at certain radio-frequency radiations which could have injurious effects on human organs.”
The Soviets would not seriously consider proposing such a draft at the UN unless these weapons are in operational status at some places in the world. The US and other western countries did not support the draft.
