Bye passing the conscious

Igor Smirnov died in 2004. He did not get the Nobel price (Nobel for peace would have been very nice). He is very much the unsung hero of today’s good samaritans-the perps. Perhaps he would one day be known as the greatest revolutionary on earth, for he re-fashioned our ideas about the human mind and its vulnerabilities. He put forward the astounding idea that the conscious could be bypassed and the inner realm of the mind programmed while the individual is wide awake and is going about his business.
This was a remarkable achievement, it annulled all human legislations on freedom at one go. In fact it made all laws extinct, for law is only necessary where people have a will to choose their actions. Robots do not need any laws, they carry out instructions, and their responses are built in into their systems. They could be re-programmed, so could be humans Smirnov says. Here are the excerpts from an interview with the pioneer in the field of electronic mind control:
MK’s question: -“How is it possible to erase one's memory?”
Smirnov’s answer: “There exists an entire array of possible methods. Majority of them are psychochemical. Electroshock can also have the same effect on a person. However, nothing works better than the so-called semantic influence, when a person is given certain orders that he then executes without hesitation. Personally, I wouldn’t want to go into details on such matters. As a result of such “outside influence”, a person’s “self” gets totally blocked. Instead, another “self” is being created. That second identity in turn can have a number of various programmed urges, such as killing oneself.”
Would you deny the man the Nobel for peace? For, look here man, the Buddha had mistakenly assumed the “desire is the root cause of unhappiness”. He was not familiar with the technique of creating another “self” and programming it with various urges through “outside influences”. He sadly thought that the humans can make decisions for themselves. It seems that Christ was more to the point, when he intuitively cautioned “knock and it will be opened”. He certainly seems to have had late Mr. Smirnov in mind while saying that. Here is why, for there have been constant knockings at human mind since Smirnov’s time.
“I allow for the possibility that perpetrators can and do use such methods to manipulate one’s conscious for the purpose of creating terrorists-kamikazes,” stated Dr. Smirnov in his interview to MK. Professor Igor Smirnov was in fact the world’s first man to get into the human mind by means of a computer.”
Terrorist–kamikazes, merely terrorist-kamikazes? Man, he is humility itself, what about turning every one in the world dumb and mind controlled. He was not very modest in one of his exploits in the US. His help had been sought to end the stand off between the authorities and cult leader David Koresh. He proposed to inundate the cult members with scrambled sound blasted through loud speakers. This was to make the cult leader surrender. And this was what has been reported:
“But the FBI was put off by Smirnov's cavalier response to questions. When officials asked what would happen if the subliminal signals didn't work, Smirnov replied that Koresh's followers might slit each other's throats, Morris recounted. The FBI took a pass, and Smirnov returned to Moscow with his mind control technology.”
Mind you the FBI is not exactly angels in human form if reports could be believed. They might have preferred Koresh’s followers slitting each others throats, such experiments have been said to have performed by some of the covert agencies of US starting from MK Ultra. But the event was a highly publicized one. They had to “take a pass” in the circumstances. But they were aware of the value of Smirnov and his work if his own words could be believed. Here is what he had to say about the history of the technology and his involvement with the “American’s”:
“Similar methods have been born in Russia and American almost simultaneously; in Russia however, they emerged 9 months earlier. Our department at the institute was in fact the first in the world. American laboratory in Michigan however is our main rival nowadays. In 1993, Americans established a company especially for me; I am currently its board member. Due to my presumptions however, I refused to stay there for good. Many of my colleagues have immigrated a long time ago and now lead pretty comfortable lives there. Unfortunately, our inventions are not in high demand in Russia…”
Presumptions? May be he held socialism so near to his heart that he could not accept the bone(board membership at a company established “especially” for him) that was being thrown his way. But he always had implicit faith in his inventions. That comes out like a beacon in these words:
“Peoples’ actions can in fact be controlled by unnoticed acoustic influence. Look-it’s easy. All I have to do is record my voice, apply special coding, which converts my voice to mere noise and afterwards, all we have to do is record some music on top of that. The words are indistinguishable to your conscious; however, your unconscious can hear them clearly. If we were to play this music over and over again on the radio for instance, people will soon start developing paranoia. This is the simplest weapon.
An image can also be coded. After 12-14 minutes the information begins to get into one’s conscious. Our department is the only one in the world that possesses such instrument of informational war. However, no one seems to be interested in it.”
Woe to Russia, for not heeding to the advice of a pioneer in the field of cerebral colonization. Especially since “Many still remain rather doubtful about the fact that it is possible to affect one’s behavior while surpassing his conscious. In reality however, people have been doing this for a hundred years already.”
Well he is now no more. But his widow and long time collaborator in his researches Elena Rusalkina “predicts an "arms race" in psychotronic weapons. Such weapons, she asserts, are far more dangerous than nuclear weapons.
She pointed, for example, to a spate of Russian news reports about "zombies" -- innocent people whose memories had been allegedly wiped out by mind control weapons. She also claimed that Russian special forces contacted the institute during the 2003 Moscow theater siege, in which several hundred people were held hostage by Chechen militants.” She is running the Psychotechnology Research Institute after the death of her husband at a university in Russia.
Her prediction is recent but to those afflicted by the technology such an arms race has been going on for years among governments and other interested groups in the world.
At least give the man the Nobel posthumously. If you can’t give it for peace, well give it for science. You gave it to people like Bishop Tutu and Dalai Lama. Are they going to influence human history in the manner this man is going to do? You are dreaming!
